Site-Based Decision Making (SBDM) Committee

SBDM is an organization for parents, staff, community members, and business partners to be involved in the process of making decisions at school. Areas of influence include planning, budgeting, curriculum, staffing patterns, staff development, and school organization. Parent – Teacher Association (PTA)

PTA meetings are generally held monthly. Joining PTA is an excellent way to show your child that you actively support his/her school. Meetings provide parents the opportunity to become more involved in their child’s education by contributing to school decisions. The focus of the PTA meetings is to not only provide campus and district information to parents/guardians, but also to serve as a training opportunity to share content knowledge and strategies for assisting students academically. Students may sometimes provide entertainment and showcase their talents as well. We encourage you to participate.
