What If Police Need To Contact Me?

Police can reach thru the app in the chat, even though you when you remain anonymous. The app doesn't even need to be open for you to receive a push notification on your device. Selecting the notification opens the app and establishes a real-time chat session with police.

Does this replace 911?

No it does not. The iWatchDallas app is only intended for non-emergency tips only. If you have an emergency and need the police immediately do not use iWatchDallas, call 911. If you need to make an official police report, please call 911 or visit DallasPolice.net and utilize the Dallas Online Reporting System.
