How to Save Water and Money - Installing a Sprinkler System Rain Gage

09 Aug 2019 11:23 AM | Anonymous member

Rain Gages and Wynnewood Lawns

Over watering your yard can cause several problems. In the spring, it will ensure shallow root growth which will then require daily watering in the summer to remain green. In the winter, it encourages fungal growth in a dormant lawn. In the summer, it can cause a hole in your checkbook, and a severe fine if violating city code.

Installing a rain gage will keep your sprinklers from going off if sufficient rain has recently fallen. This YouTube video explains the basics of how this technology works, and it provides instructions on how to install a rain gage.
